hello, I'm Mycah-

I’m a Los Angeles-based apparel designer navigating the evolving fashion industry, one sketch at a time.

 

My pursuit in fashion started in 2014 when I decided to head back to school to get a degree in fashion.  A year after graduating, I dove right into the apparel industry and landed my first job with a young contemporary women’s dresses brand.  I’m grateful for my experiences at my first job, as it allowed me to be hands on with the design process.  From working with in-house sewers and pattern makers, I knew that the knowledge I gained there would be the building blocks for my career in design.

 

In 2018, I decided to step out of my comfort zone, and explore a different side of fashion.  I joined TechStyle Fashion Group, a fashion incubator that houses popular brands such as Fabletics, JustFab and Savage X Fenty.  TechStyle Fashion Group gave me the opportunity to further explore women’s fashion at JustFab and help build the newest division of Fabletics, men’s activewear.  My experiences there set me up with my next venture at Legends, an up and coming activewear and lifestyle brand.   Since then, I’ve been able to dive deeper in the world of activewear and witness the influence of activewear in the lifestyle space.
